K1 ‘Silver Label’ Shiraz 2009 New Release
The middle hill of the K1 vineyard is sandstone and quite different from the front hill where the K1 Gold Label Shiraz. The Shiraz from the middle hill is co-fermented with Viognier to add it's floral and white peach notes, as a perfect match to
the earthy Shiraz.
Complex licorice and leather overtones with spicy black fruits, partly the interaction with a touch of Viognier; These delicious characters follow onto the palate with lingering dark fruits and peppery, and fine persistent tannins.
