Arneis is a rare and prior to a few recent plantings at it's origin and in Australia, almost extinct white grape variety from Piedmonte in northwest Italy. It is fragrant wine of great complexity and has earned the nickname "Little Rascal" as it is notoriously difficult to grow.

This wine captures Arneis' varietal definition brilliantly, including floral tropical notes and fresh white peach characters with hints of almonds, pears and aromatic herbs. Arneis is a perfect accompaniment to full flavoured seafood dishes and antipasta.

This wine can be enjoyed immediately and yet will age beautifully due to characters inherited from the cool climate of the Adelaide Hills. The Kuitpo region gives it low PH, excellent fruit zest for this variety and subtle long term mineral elements.
