K1 Cabernet / Tempranillo 2008 New Release
An outstanding example of a modern Cabernet Sauvignon/Tempranillo blend synonymous with the Rioja and Navarra regions of Spain.
These two varieties are made for each other when blended as they each add important dimensions to the final wine.
Cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon is the backbone of this rich ripe style, typical of our 2008 vintage, where the Tempranillo adds fleshy red fruit to the middle palate and soft voluptuous tannin on the finish.
This wine is a brilliant partner to full flavoured cuisine using dark or cured meats and with rich tomato-based dishes.
