K1 Cellar Door
Geoff has drawn on five generations of viticultural experience to develop his techniques for producing outstanding wines – acknowledged by leading wine industry journalist James Halliday who awards K1 five red stars. The vineyard is not only recognised for the premium quality of the wines it produces but also for its beauty, where it has been ranked as one of Australia's Top 10 Cellar Door experiences by leading wine industry journal, Wine Business Magazine.
You can expect to taste through our award winning wines in our unique lakeside tasting room the centrepiece of which is a hand crafted tasting bench made by Geoff from a 400 year old piece of Red Gum from his Limestone Coast vineyard. To entice you to stay for a while, we invite you to relax inside, our outside on the deck, sit back, relax and enjoy a bottle of wine and one of our platters sourced from the award winning producers of the Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula. Our Regional Platters can be popular so we'd strongly recommend that you book ahead where possible to avoid disappointment.
Groups of ten people or more intending to visit cellar door are required to have booked in advance to ensure we can adequately accommodate you and our other guests. On all group bookings, a tasting fee of $15 per person applies. $10 of this can be redeemed on the purchase of wine at Cellar Door on the day.
